  • Toms rotting

Ok first I got yellowing leaves on my outside tomatoes. These are garden pearl. I chopped off the worst affected and fed with a little epsom salts. Now the stems are rotting and the fruit on the affected stems are dying.
They are fed once a week with tomorite. Any ideas ???

Will try to add some pics tomorrow

    Where are you growing them?

Just in the back garden, plenty of sun when it shines.

Garden Pearl, or Gartenperle according to some seed suppliers, are best suited to growing in pots or baskets, I suspect they need the extra drainage. Maybe yours are a bit waterlogged? Try and post some piccies. Could be blight - I hope not

Pretty sure its not blight, it doesnt look like it. They are in pots and have been well draining till tonights storms! It seems to be the stems that are dying then the fruit just drops off

It does sound like they have been too wet.
