Hi all,
I have a blackberry Tayberry plant potted in a 60cm pot. The plant came with 3 stalks 2 of which are being trained up an archway and the centre one also being trained up, however what i am finding is that each stalk is producing side shoots which have nowhere to go apart from outwards, am i ok to prune these off, or am i risking less fruit for next year?
The plant itself is really growing like wildfire, so it must like its new home in the pot, but the question is, I take it it doesnt produce canes like a raspberry, and when do i prune it.
Thanks
