    Hi all,

I have just about picked all my 'cherry belle' radishes and about to sow more, then it occured to me that winter is coming and should i sow a different variety. I was thinking 'china rose', will this be ok to sow now?

    Thanks

    Hi Uulwyn

I'm away from home so dont have my seed packets and info to hand, but I grew a few radish late on last year.
Obviously I am a bit further south than you but I grew them in my raised beds, only planted a single row, but they pretty much all grew.
From memory I dont think it was China Rose I grew, but it was a winter variety, and I had no problems.

wow, live and learn, I didn't know there were such things as "Winter Radishes", where have I been? Thank you UU. I now learn that Chiltern Seeds (for example) sell several varieties, including China Rose, as Winter Radishes, see
