There's a red kale called Redbor (and probably others) and also red brussels sprouts called Falstaff (ditto). The kale has frilly edged leaves, and the sprouts have what looks like a loose cabbage on the top and individual leaves coming out of the stalk.

I grow Red Russian kale which has a red tinge to the leaves which intensifies after frost! My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

Not wishing to insult your intelligence but it's not a variety of red Brussels Sprout is it? I have some that fit your description. By now they should have mini sprouts at the leaf base. The variety I grow is called Red Rubine.Last edited by Flashheart; 12-09-2009, 08:08 PM.
