    Grown it before, but will try again.
    I treated the last one just like any other house-plant.
    Had it for ages on the kitchen window ledge.
    Over watered it and it died.

    Word of warning though.... they like to push the pot they are in out of shape.

        I grew ginger from tuber but it was too late because i planted it in august, 2010 IM GOIN TO HAVE ANOTHER GO
        Dont judge a plant by it's pot.

                  I've got a very apt username I'm out until kitchen has dried out and I get a new bit of ginger (one that has sprouts on)

                        Im not off the starting block yet either Frosty, been snowed in the village for the past 3 weeks so not had chance to go out and shop for a piece with a shoot on it. The piece I put in water to try and get to shoot is doing nothing either :-(
