  • Which month does the mag mean?!

    Hi all,
I am new to this & read the mag every month - BUT when it asks you to plant stuff now does it actually mean Now or does it mean imagine the magazine dated Feb is read in Feb & plant in Feb. I don't want to plant stuff too early & kill it.

Thanks for that, so I shall now read the January mag which I thought applied to December & see what I should do. I guess that must be why I haven't found seed potatoes in the garden centres yet!

Just out of interest whats the logic behind this or is it something all mags do?

My local garden centre are expecting their seed potatoes in next week. Is it true that they will be in short supply this year due to weather conditions last year or is that just a garden centre "get in soon" blag.

This time warp (he says as he jumps to the left ) seems to be something that all the gardening mags I have ever bought do, not just GYO.

I'm not sure I should tell you what I was wearing the last time I went to see the stage show (in 2000 I think it was), I might end up with as bad a reputation as LJ!

                      Mrs D
You are not alone - I must have seen the film over 50 times in the cinema, worn out two videos of same, and seen the stage show in various reincarnations about a dozen times - in my mind still the best contemporary musical ever written !!!!

Snadger the February edition went on sale at the start of January and will be sold until the start of February. So if you buy the magazine at the end of January or the start of February you don't want to read about what you should have done that month.

                        I hope that makes sense!

By the same token, most people buying the mag will surely buy it at the beginning of January i.e now, though won't they? In which case it's understandable if they become a bit confused!! Doh!! My head hurts!

But better to have the information you need early rather than too late.
