I think some of our co-habitees are both beneficial and not , so it's a balance I think.
Not many fast moving insects/etc are hervivors I think.

Now you have made me look up the dictionary for those two names -Omniverous is in the dictionary but not hervivors!--Kathie
I might be worth getting a copy of Biological Control in Plant Protection by Neil Helyer, Kevin Brown, Nigel D Cattlin published by Manson Publishing ISBN 1-874545-28-6. www.manson-publishing.co.uk It is a bit technical but does help to identify benificial insects and gives some practical tips for gardeners.
