Aphids or mites?

Hi all,

I have recently seen tiny brown mites on my goji berries which have made all the leaves of my plants fall off. Now they have gone onto my prairie fire pepper plant. I have tried soapy water, which seems to get rid of them, but then they come back again.

Is there anything i can do, they are the size of pin pricks and are brown in colour and seem to act the same way as black fly on broad beans.

Should i just bin both plants?

Where are your plants growing Uulwyn? Aphids are usually bigger than pin pricks, more like pinheads.

they were on the windowsill in the kitchen rusty, I think they are aphids of some variety. I have decided to bin the plants anyhow as they had started work killing the plant.
