Potato advice needed please

Hi all, just some advice needed with my potatoes. I only have a very small plot and last year managed about 12 potato plants.
I have bought my seed spuds - Pentland Javelin, which are 1st earlies.
My dilemma is as I want crops for as long as possible should I plant 12 Pent Javelin and then plant more of them when the first crop is over? Is this possible or too late for a 2nd crop of them. Or should I buy different seeds ie maincrop and only plant half at first then the other half of maincrop.?
Also what type could go in after the Pent Javelin? All the planting times seem to run into each other so I wont have the spare space.
I cant sleep at night for worrying about this .
I would really like some Charlottes but unsure when to try and fit them in

The season goes from 1st to 2nd earlies and then maincrop. If you want a long season you need a variety fro each.

You can also put earlies in pots or bags in the green house for earlier crops and it is possible to get "second harvest" potatoes from some suppliers that you plant in August for Christmas. I have put recently harvested 1st earlies in again in August and had Christmas pots.

I'd do what digger says and get some big tubs from the pound shop and put them in those ( about 4 should do) then you could plant some 2nd eariles in the ground and when you lift the 1st earlies re plant the tubs with some for Christmas - something like Maris Peer or Charlotte are good.

I took on my first plot in May two years ago. A kindly regular stopped by with some wildly chitting earlies in June and said 'get these in now, you'll have new potatoes for Christmas'. Nothing to lose, so I planted them and had a good crop in November
