My Draper pH/light/moisture meter doesn't even go up to 10, it stops at 8 - I thought that the needle was pretty much at the stop where it is. Oh well, I suppose that not much grows above a pH of 8, vegetation wise, does it ?

OOh, calibration ! What an exciting idea. Hadn't thought of that ! Mmmmh, what do I do if it turns out that the meter lies ? I suppose I would have to buy a new one <stingey Aberdonian wails and weeps over wasted money, gnashes teeth at thought of more expense>
...Unless of course I just assumed it would always have the same amount of error, in which case I'd be saving myself from spending money !
