100% success from 'spur' cuttings in July/August. Just tear off 6 iinch long 'twigs' where they meet the main stem (right at the base) leaving a spur on. Put them in a mixture of compost and sand. Keep moist. Simples. Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

I think rosemary is one of the most obliging herbs to root. It seems to happen from various methods and also I'm told, but have yet to find out, that the wabbits don't like it.S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig

just give it another month, mid april when full growth has been resumed, you will find that, given the basic needs,it will all strike, you wont know what to do with them all,i do this with some of my japanese maples, some are devils to get rooted,(for my bonsai)after so many failures,i find second week in april is the earliest i take the cuttings(with a heel),its all going flat out by then,so you should do fine.if you use a knife, make sure its really clean,it does matter...good luck.
