Windowsills or greenhouse?

Ok, I've managed to grow quite a few seedlings which I'm chuffed about - all started off in the heated propogator then moved to south facing windowsills, some of which are also next to radiators.

They are all coming on well but I'm a bit confused as to which ones can go into the unheated greenhouse (to make space for more sowings!) and which ones should stay in the cosy house for a bit longer.

Also, should I be making the new sowings in the house/heated prop for a bit longer or should they be ok to sow in the greenhouse now?

So far I have the following seedlings:-

Peas
broad beans
Peppers
onions
spring onions
broccoli raab
Broccoli PSB
Toms
Chillies (several types, including Nigel's outdoors)
Cauli (all the year round)
Cabbage (rouge tete noir)
Basil

The peas, broccolis, onions and cabbage can be outside. Mine have been in the greenhouse all the time - they germinated in there. The others - it depends on where you live. I remember a hard frost 2 years ago on May 18th - I never trust the greenhouse at night unless the forecast is VERY generous. I take them out in the day and bring them in at night. I have a very large (and slightly mucky!) dining table!

It's up to you but I wouldn't like to re-sow toms and peppers in May.

Tomatoes, peppers, chillies and basil all need higher temperatures, so I wouldn't trust them in an unheated greenhouse at night at this time of year. All your others are hardy, so unheated greenhouse for a few days and then outside to harden off.

The basil, toms and chillis can't stay out overnight yet, mine are on trays that go out in the greenhouse in the morning and back home (kitchen) at night

Minus one in my greenhouse last night. And it wont be the last or coldest this season.

I am glad to get all the good answers to this question as I was wondering about it myself. If toms, peppers and chiilies can't stay out overnight can anyone offer when they can start to, i.e. what minimum temperature do they need?
