Well done - and to the good friend!
I was so excited to get my new full plot last autumn, though tempered by the knowledge that the old chap who had it previously (and I knew) had died. That makes me feel I mustn't let him down though, keeps me digging when the going gets tough.
There's no feeling like working on your own little plot. Enjoy it!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

Difgging can be reasonably enjoyable if done little and often! Just remember there's always another day though as hospitals have to take extra staff on at Easter for all the gardening injuries! My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
