The shed in my garden is waiting to become a studio when it grows up!
Here it is in winter - all I need is the little potbellied stove and the chimney.

i have lots of lovely sage coloured raised beds in my garden,made out of retired scaffolding boards that have done there time on building sites and are now resting(eleven beds to be acurate). they are not perfectly straight or leval but they are my way and i love them!! just a bit of advice on the slab wood,check how much sap wood is on them it rots pretty quick! when i used to run a band rack saw we were always told to not leave too much good timber on the slabs..

Just about to start getting the allotment sorted into raised beds now and over the next few weekends- the timber is going to be painted with fence paint to make it last longer -as it was quite an investment! Just wondering if I should line the sides with plastic too- anyone got any suggestions?Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?Comment

I've put some of that cheap plastic lawn edging round the inside of one of my beds, because I had it handy and thought I'd try it. It works to protect the wood a bit, but, because it's wavy edged, weeds can come up between it and the wood
which is a pain!! So, if I did it again, I'd use something I could staple to the top of the wood to prevent that from happening
