hi,just a quickie,should my leek seedlings have tiny amount of yellow tip on?the seedlings are only 40-50mm tall..

They might have. I wouldn't worry. I don't worry about much in the garden - most of it comes right in the end.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

Hi Yeti, if you look at the rest of your seedlings you might notice they come out doubled over, the yellow bit will more than likely be what was under the compost, if it is it's nothing to worry about, you might still have some with the seed still attached . Here's a photo of some of mine to see what I mean.
