    Hi sorry if this is a dumb question but can fleece be used to cover crops to protect from pest? does the light etc still get thru?

    You have to loose sight of the shore sometimes to cross new oceans

      Fleece gives excellent protection from carrot fly and other wee beasties but needs trenching into the ground a couple of inches to avoid leaving any spaces. Best to get extra width to allow for the trenching and to give room for the crop to grow.

        Also great for fruit trees as you can protect the buds from the birds in spring and fruit in autumn.
