Frost questions!

Hi
We are forecast 100% risk of ground frost tonight. I have covered the spud bed with cardboard, will that be enough?
Also, as of Monday, the temps are suppose to really drop round here Would it do any harm to leave fleece on all day or do I need to take it off every morning?

You don't need to cover the spuds unless you have leaves above the ground. As for fleece, this can be left on day and night. In fact it is recommended that you leave it over carrots to keep carrot fly off.

Thanks rustlady. The leaves are just coming through so I didn't want to take any chances
