  • "Recycled" water butts

Does anyone know of a good place to get recycled / reused water butt containers? I've found these, which is what I've been looking for, but I don't really trust it due to "metoplastic". Sounds a bit dodgy and I can't find any information online about it.

Recycled 220 ltr water butt/barrel/container/storage... on eBay (end time 10-May-10 17:03:24 BST)

I'd be quite happy to simply buy the container and convert it myself.

    Cheers for any advice.

If you know of anyone having a combi boiler fitted see if you can have their water tank, (the one from in the loft). Thats what I use, propped up on bricks with a tap screwed onto the bottom, (it already has a hole their from it's previous use).
