Courgettes.!!!!

Hi..in the past i have grown courgettes in pots and have had good fruit growing to start with at about 3-5 inch,but after a while they seem to start rotting away..Any advise on how to stop this?do i need to pick the flowers off or something?Thankyou,!

I would think either a) not pollinated, b) pot not big enough to sustain growth, c) overwatering.

I agree with rustylady, I believe I had some that went moldy because they were not pollinated.
They seemed to grow mold from the flower end.
I did also notice before this happened that the courgette was soft, compared to one that actually grew to maturity.
