As you can see from my forum name, pigeon droppings are something that I have plenty of. I believe that it is too strong to use as manure directly onto the plants but, would it be of any use if I stored it for a while? If so, how would I store it and for how long? Has anyone any experience of using pigeon poo as manure?

My Dad used to gather this for his leeks from where pigeons had roosted under the railway bridges. Pigeon guano is what he called it and it had to be at least two or three years old before he would use it!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
