I have, so I've been told, a Bay Tree stump in the garden and it's now sending loads of shoots up from the base.
The new shoots are dark brown redish colour and the leaves smell like bay, but I'm a bit unsure because of the red stem colour, anyway I'd like to make them into individual trees, how do I seperate them from the stump?
