I'm so excited, just got my link-a-bord beds in the post today so can't wait to put them up at the weekend (have essays to write till then so I've had to lock the boards up in the shed to avoid temptation!)
Have decided on the square foot method for my planting as will only have a
2m square plot which cuts nicely up into 18 squares with lots of extra flower buckets that I got for free from Asda, missed opportunity on their part me thinks, which I'm going to plant my courgettes, toms and lots of sunflowers in.
Thanks very much for all your advice regarding my hedge problems. I was going to leave it till later in the season to talk to the neighbours but after receiving j-artichokes in my organic veg box I would quite like to start a plot of them going to so will talk to the neighbours asap (I don't think many of the artichokes are going to make it to the plate! oh well, all the more for the autumn...).
Right, suppose I best get on with the essay that I'm putting off...
