  • Storing onions.

    Hi all

    I've just havested my onion crop and I was wondering how long it takes them to dry for storage. The onoins are currently drying off in my polly tunnel.

    Well Allotment Nerd if they are not going to be in the way leave them there they will not hurt..jacob

      I'm wondering the same thing. How long do they need to dry out.
      mine were harvested last Thursday.

        Leave them to dry until the leaves, roots and skins are papery.

              usually 2- 3 weeks max,but that depends on the weather
