Wow Mrs Dobby i've just seen your plot................pleeeeeese send some pics when all is growing so i can just dream, yeah one day, but for now i love my mini polytunnel and mini greenhouse..........hours of fun already
Lol Wendy! Its going to be our first year growing, so I'm only hoping we do get some crops a growing, but with our entusiasm and the excitement that I know we will have when we have anything growing, then there will be pics a plenty on both our blog and probably on the vine too, so dont worry, you'll definitely get to see them! In fact, you'll probably all be sick and tired of them by the end of the season!
Er.. nope, you're not, Shelle, you're talking to a bunch of people who......
In fact, what a good idea for anew thread (DUMB THINGS I'VE DONE....any takers, LJ?)
BTW, I think that photos of plots should be compulsary ! LOL! There are two approches here - the 'WOW I'd love my plot to look like that!'; and the 'at least my plot doesnt look like that!'
Seriously, it makes me feel so much part of the community here to share!
1) used blackthorn as pea sticks. Led to much laceration of fingers when I picked the crop
2) put 'biodegradable' carrier bags in my compost heap. They don't. I am still fishing bits of shredded plastic out.
3) thought I could fix my shed roof with a poundshop tarp. I'm still picking the shredded blue plastic out of my plot.
4) shall I go on?
to redeem myself, here's a photo of my plot in late Oct. I'm still picking the leafbeet, the cornflowers are now about to flower. The white marguerites were self-sown and flowered well into December

Thanks for the pic Two Sheds, and everybody else who posts them. I just love to see what everybody is doing and how they're doing it - so keep the pics coming. Isn't the technology wonderful and thankyou to GYO and the IT guys who manage this site. They do a super job.
