Water butt downpipe connecter

Hi,

(if this is in the wrong place perhaps someone could move it to the right one, thanks)

I've just bought a slimline water butt kit from Argos but having opened it I've realised the downpipe connecter is for downpipes of 60mm diameter. My downpipe is around 50mm but can't seem to find any connector kits that size anywhere online.



Can anyone recommend one or does anyone have an idea where I might find one? Or alternatively any ways I could get around the issue without having to buy a new kit?

I made a downpipe of sorts out of old pop bottles held together with string. It worked, just didn't look nice

if you have any kind of soft hose, cut a length the length of the circle, slit it in half and push it along the top and bottom of the connector, it'll reduce the diameter of the hole and should fit a bit more snugly.
