  • Help with Dwarf Beans!!!

I have some late dwarf beans (Hestia) that have just come into flower.

Is it too late for the beans to form or can i protect them with something to get beans?

I do not have a greenhouse to keep them in.

    Cheers

    Steve

Much too late I'm afraid. My quickest beans take 3 months from seed to pod

They are not frost hardy so they'll fold up as soon as we get a hard one.

Both my Hestias and Serbian pole beans refused to flower until September, but they seem to be fruiting fast - maybe they know something that we don't! You might well get a handful of beans if you protect them. They taste wonderful even if they're totally confused!
