Hi there,
we bought a pink carmelia just under 1 year ago. It has been in a pot since then (repotted once after buying) but has not been doing well. It is about 50cm high, but it never flowered, although sometimes it looked as if it was developing buds. It now has 1 bud, which is again not opening. A few days ago it started to lose its leaves, so I'm wondering if it is now dying. Can somebody advise me if we can still save it, and if yes, what should we do? Or alternatively, if we buy a new one, what are the most likely mistakes we made with this one? It does not look as if it is infested with any bugs. The tips of some of the leaves might look a bit black/grey, but the leaves falling off look healthy and green.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Vera
