Me Onions

Finally got me onions into the ground, can anyone give me some hints and tips how to get the best yield ie feed, fertiliser etc

And what will grow best next door to me onions, sorry for these questions nothing but a newbie at the mo

I've never fed mine, but my onions are always one of the veg that I make sure I keep well weeded. Whenever I've not done this, the onions have been piddly.

I agree with Jono. Last year i grew my onion in an area prone to weeds and the yeild was lower than normal due to them becoming swamped with weeds as the summer turned wet.
You can dress between the rows with Blood Fish and Bonemeal if you think they need a boost
