What can I grow now in my blowaway greenhouse

I got one of those blowaway greenhouses (fixed to my hedge) and im needing advice and wondering whats cool to grow in it.

When seeds say on them "grow indoors" from x to y, does that mean it would be fine to grow these in the ghouse at these times

What i want to grow are, french climbing bean, brussel sprout, peppers, chillis, courgettes, carrot little finger, peas, cherry toms, basil, wild rocket, mizuna and mixed lettuce leaves

Which of these are ok to grow in the ghouse or which ones would i have to grow indoors first


also, should i position the ghouse so that it gets sun all day? with it backed onto my hedge it will only get sun in the afternoon

sow 3 weeks before last frost date in the house (15-20C) and then in the blowaway once germinated, bring in on nights when frost is forecast, plant out after last frost (1st June?)

courgettes - could sow a bit earlier - 4 weeks before last frost perhaps?

Fine outside, could start them off in the blowaway, but warmth as seedlings is not advisable

Need warmth. Can start in the house 18-20C, perhaps a bit more to germinate (e.g. airing cupboard), need warmth to grow, so need to keep on windowsill until warm enough outside - mid May probably. Can go out on sunny days when the blowaway is 16C+

peppers,
chillis,
cherry toms - can then be planted out well after last frost - e.g. 1st June (dunno what part of the country you are in, please fill in Location in your user profile)

Probably best sown direct in the ground:

carrot little finger,
peas,
wild rocket,
mizuna
mixed lettuce leaves

Kristen's got you sorted there Neil. My advice? Make sure your blowaway is securely tied down - it's heartbreaking if it blows away as lots of us on here have experienced. I had three go on the same night, luckily they were empty of plants.

it depends how warm your blowaway stays, esp at night (my glass one is min of 6c at the moment). A max/min thermometer is your friend

You'll find it gets very very hot (and your seedlings burnt) if it's in full sun. Try partial shade, or put a tea towel on the roof on very hot days, with the zippy door open
