  • Leggy busy lizzies

    Hi

    Ive just had 120 small plugs delivered, however because they are so packed together all off them are leggy.

    What should i do?
    cut the tops off?

    noooooo........ if they have leaves up the stem then maybe try pinching the top growing point out but don't just lop the top off willy nilly ....

      you cant hardly see the growing point, its like 2 leaves then a long stem then the top

                Well I would certainly repot them ......and then pinch the tops out....the very tops so that they sprout from the leaf joints. (which it looks like some of them are doing)

                  even with the tops pinched out, they will still be to leggy,
                  theres just to much stem

                      Try complaining to the supplier,see if they will send you some healthy replacements,those look very crowded in the modules. Wifey says basically the same as Bin's,nip the growing tips out between thumbnail & finger
