  • Catch cropping

    Hi there

I have a very small garden and i am rapidly running out of space.
I am keen to utilise the space carefully and have read quite a lot about catch cropping with salad and radishes. Are there any other veg. which can be used in this way?
I am growing the following, aubergine, beetroot, carrots, cabbage, calabrese, cauliflower, courgette, leeks, mangetout, parsnips, peas, rocket, runner beans, salad, spinach, squash, sweetcorn.... some in the bed and some in large containers.
Any ideas on how to maximise the use of the space whilst the slow growers such as parsnips and beetroots mature would be great.

    thanks

Yep, you need to do it with small, fast growing crops that will mature, be cut and gone before the big slow ones (brassicas) get going

i'm sure you couldput in spring onions, as you would be pulling them small for salads they would'nt be in the ground that long.
