How old are you and how long have you grown ya own?

I'm 27 only as a child helped my dad with his garden and allotment.
Only started growing my own four years ago, gradually growing more and more, waiting for an allotment!

I'm 20 and this is my first year growing alone. Everything's in containers and mostly indoors, as being a student and living in London means lots of moving and not much outdoor space!

I'm 51 in a couple of weeks. Started about 10 yrs ago when I dug up part of our tiny garden to plant veggies as therapy when feeling depressed. It proved to be fantastic therapy and still is!!! I then got 1 1/2 allotments, but 4 yrs ago moved to a house with a bigger garden, and I also share a very large plot with a friend round the corner in our village. Often I just stand amongst my veggies for 20 mins or so - the very best 'wind down' after a stressful day! LOVE IT!!!

43 but feel like 34 since i split from the missus, been on the lottie from 7 with my dad then we had two lotties, had ten years away due to work started again four years ago and have just got a new lottie, just need a lottery win now.

I'm 28. Aside from my own little flower and veg patch when I was tiny and 'helping' my parents, I started trying to grow my own veg last year, but all I had was the horrifyingly overgrown back garden of a suspect rental house, so I didn't want to put too much time and effort in then move. I got a half-plot allotment last october, and I've been trying to do better this year, and I have managed to grow some edibles, as well as copious weeds!

I've been battling the bindweed, a dodgy back and a slightly crazy neighbour, but I think I'm hooked. I love having my own quiet place in the middle of the city, having been brought up in the country, even if all I do some days is go and watch the wildlife.
