So I bought some pea plugs on a whim about 6 weeks ago. They were teeny tiny, about 5 tall each. They were described as Patio Peas; small enough to grow in a tiny space like ours so I snapped them up.
Since potting them into a big pot they have thrived. I made them a little wigwam type thing using the 90cm willow sticks we had and they have nearly covered it - and are still growing. They are just now starting to grow flowers at the very tippy top of the wigwam, but not really along the rest of it. I don't think these are very small-patio sized at all!
My main questions are - once the flowers have grown at the top will they grow all over? If not what will happen to the pea shoots if they have outgrown their frame? And, if I need to put longer sticks in to support them should I try and take the old ones out first (they are in a pot so there is not much room for two sets of supports)?
They are very noob questions I know, but I want to get some trusted advice before I go in all guns blazing and kill the things before the pea pods grow!
