  • Bolting!

    Hello,

Just wondering about bolting plants... My pak choi bolted last month and I've left them to try and save seed. Now my rainbow chard is bolting! It is only about 8" high.

Is it just one of those things? Should I not be too worried and just eat the chard now?

I will confess that I am not always reliable with watering... sometimes things dry out quite badly before I get out to water them. Everything is in containers. Could this be why they are bolting?

    Thanks, Bronwen

Drying out won't help but Pak Choi is a cool season plant ans is much better sown after mid-summer.
