  • Plants for pots

Last year bought some runner bean plant (expensive) grew basil parsley in pots. Keen to try again. Limited space. What is easily to grow and prolific in pots.

Why buy runners DTC, they wil germinate easily in the tub & you won't disturb the roots - you can always put some fleece over to keep it a bit warmer.

If you want things that are prolific it has to be things like beans or courgettes that will keep fruiting rather tha say carrots that only grow the once then you pull them, that said we always used to do a couple of tubs with carrots in and they kept us going for ages. ALso try some of the cut & come again type veg as this will give a long supply.
