Red tiger stripes on my tomato leaves!

Hi

I have just noticed that one of my greenhouse tomato plants (Golden Sunrise) has developed reddish stripes on the leaves, at the end of the branches. What is it/what am I doing wrong/how do I cure it? The rest of the plant (so far) is healthy. I have other varieties of tomatoes in the greenhouse, which are ok and I don't want this to spread to them. Any advice would be extremely grateful. Please see pictures, although they look brown, the leaves are more reddish.

scorching I reckon. could be wrong though. but still, don't panic yet, someone more experienced will be along.

Scorching is certainly a possibility, are the leaves from the lower branches and how do you water?

Hi Colin

The leaves affected are the end 3 on all the branches. So far the rest of the leaves are fine and healthy. The plants are about 3 feet tall. I water every day and feed with Tomatorite once a week. None of the other 4 varieties of toms are affected (yet)....

There is an outside chance this could be mosaic virus for which there is no treatment.

For starters I would remove all affected leaves (they will do no good anyway) and destroy them, do not compost them. Practice good hygene i.e. wash your hands before touching any other plants. Try to keep them away from your other toms.

If it reappears on other leaves I would destroy the affected plants.

Sorry its bad news but don't jump the gun give them a chance as it could still be scorch and if it is they should recover.
