I've just sown another lot of Kelvedon Wonder peas. By the way, could you add your location to your profile please? Advice suitable for someone in Devon would not be appropriate for someone in the north of Scotland.
Leeks for me, I can't grow brassicas to save my life
If you are good at growing leeks, give me a tip please, I've tried to grow them, and all I've got is what looks like spring onions, have i been too early at planting them out

They've got a long time growing yet Tattiemuncher, they should thicken up OK.

First tip is that they are gross feeders so make sure the leek bed has oodles of FYM/compost dug in. Give them plenty of space. I give mine 18" between rows and 6" between plants for kitchen leeks and lastly, remember that leeks will continue to grow right through the winter so now is too early to be despondent if they aren't very big yet.
My potatoes won't be out of there till August/September so I'm putting in garlic and onions. As for leeks you want to sow loads of them in something like an ice cream tub or a fruit punnet. I start indoors in Jan/Feb then put out into the blowaway once they're up. Around April plant the whole lot as a block in a corner (on the plot) somewhere and forget about em until June/July. By that time they will be nice and thick and easy to dib into their final positions. That's what I do anyways
