For better or for worse I am back amongst you. My beloved husband died of his wretched Motor Neurone Disease 2 1/2 months ago. I now have time to go back into the garden. It is a total disaster area having not been touched for 12 months. I bought some cabbage and some broccoli plants so I have put those in and am now waiting for results. Oh, yes, I did remember to put micro-mesh over them.
Anyroadup, it's just good to be back.

Ann- it's lovely to have you back....but what sad news....I really don't know what to say apart from offering you a huge hug and a ready shoulder/ear if you ever need one.

Glad you feel ready to get stuck back into GYO- I'm sure it'll help you somehow.

    xx

Welcome back and sorry to hear the sad news about your husband. That really is an awful disease to be inflicted with and being of a progressive nature somehow makes it worse. It's good that you have an interest in the garden and I hope you have success with your brassicas

Sorry i do not know you as i am very new here, but i felt the need to send my best wishes as it sounds like you have been through an awful lot of late, i know it isnt always easy to get life back on an even keel after losing someone so close to you, but to lose yourself in the garden does take away some of the pain, even if only momentarialy, best wishes and look forward to hearing how its all growing.

                    Regards, Rob.
