I did desert everything for a while, not least this lovely forum! My apologies.
See whilst there were things growing (or not as the case may be) in my garden this summer, it would seem there was also something growing in my belly!
I downed tools from the moment I found out, lest I do any of the forbidden 'heavy lifting'. Finding myself lugging a potato sack accross the lawn with all the gusto of a jail thief, finally made me realise I needed to take it easy.
When I started gardening this year, it was very much my therapy, to help me connect with nature and the glorious miracle of fertility. Boy did it work!!
So here I am, in the 'safer' zone of pregnancy with a garden desperate for attention and winter just round the corner. My veg experience this summer was not what I had hoped, but I think I got the better end of the deal.
