The council I believe cleared it all down and then placed weedkiller down twice I was told then it was ploughed 3 times in total,we are finding new growth of brambles but when we see them we dig them out the best we can.
The clearing seemed to be a joint effort between the council and ourselves IE: we cleared what they didn't or forgot to do (Long story) lol
Funny you should mention about the fencing because just behind that they will be building 3-4 bedroom houses next year so right behind our fence they will be placing another 6-7ft solid fence
Lots of postcrete I hope wouldn't want it to blowaway after all that effort. It looks like 4mm double poly if so thats quite flexible. Fortunately mine are slide in panels (not clips) but I still used some specialist silicone to make sure they were secure.

Colin what silicone did you use and could you provide the link or url so I can look into this please.
Hi Nigel,
I put mine in with silicone, just standard clear variety , that was 3 years ago and haven't had a panel blow out yet (famous last words ) just put plenty on each edge
Add to the comments though, fantastic start you've made there.
