Planting in manured soil

I had two loads of FYM last mouth and I've been spreading over my plots liberally, now I know I don't want to be putting manure where I going to be growing my snips and carrots next year but what I was wondering is there any other veg at doesn't want to go in where I have manured ?

Horseradish,salsify,carrot,parsnip & anything of that ilk,the problem (as far as I understand) is with crops like that if the "goodness" is in the topsoil the roots will fork in any direction,rather than growing straight down in search of it

We don't like Horseradish so not be growing any of them, what about normal radishes?

It's not so much the question of the goodness being in the top layers of soil. It is more that if fresh manure is in the ground through which root crops are growing, the root tips can be burned which then causes forking to occur.

Its very well rotted manure, its like compost.

Should be all right then for burning - not so sure about the root crops though, it might still have the wrong ratio of nutrients for root crops to devote most of their energy to the roots.
No doubt some more knowledgeable Grapes will be along in a minute !
