I had two loads of FYM last mouth and I've been spreading over my plots liberally, now I know I don't want to be putting manure where I going to be growing my snips and carrots next year but what I was wondering is there any other veg at doesn't want to go in where I have manured ?

Horseradish, salsify, carrot, parsnip & anything of that ilk,the problem (as far as I understand) is with crops like that if the "goodness" is in the topsoil the roots will fork in any direction, rather than growing straight down in search of itHe who smiles in the face of adversity, has already decided who to blame

Should be all right then for burning - not so sure about the root crops though, it might still have the wrong ratio of nutrients for root crops to devote most of their energy to the roots.
