I'm sorry but I can feel a mothers perspective coming on..........from my pov I have boys who do two things. One they ask me what to do, how a thing works, why they should do it. Then they tear down my views. And when I refuse to tell them anything they sulk because I've got more experience than them (but obviously not good enough experience)
Nowadays I usually just reply 'Do I look like a botanist? An Engineer? A rocket scientist?' Do I?
I do the lalala thing too. Best really in any situation. Or shaking your head from side to side. That way you miss every 2 or 3rd word and it doesn't make sense or annoy you. It may annoy your mother when she sees you shaking your head tho
