your plant look fine, the brown/beigy marks look like sun scorch, water on the leaves magnifes in the sun and it burnes,Last edited by lottie dolly; 12-05-2012, 08:42 PM.sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

You haven't watered in weeks or months? I'm surprised they're still alive! Give them a good feed with their watering

Oh.. and I assume they're fairly large now? Then I think you water too often and drowning them. I give mine a good soak once a week, but that's it.

My first thought before I even opened your post: you're overwatering

Looks like 'scald' to me. If they are in direct strong sunlight when the plants are young you don't need water on the leaves for this to happen. It is something to do with the liquid within the leaf itself over heating.

Confirming what Potty said...my young, indoor grown chillies and sweet peppers all suffered from scorch, despite the leaves never getting wet.
It hasn't affected their growth though.Last edited by Pa Snips; 12-05-2012, 09:48 PM.Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

Anything non-peat as a rule. I got a big bag of B&Qs own a couple of weeks ago and it's really good stuff.
