I started planting my crops with all the intention of keeping to a rotating system, however, now its out the window and all my crops are mixed up. Will it really matter?.
Simon.
I think it's good to move things around anyway. For example the soil on my lottie varies from one end to the other so it's interesting to see how things do in another spot. Growing potatoes is great for working the soil and making it easier to grow other veg after they've been harvested, so when I plant my tatties next year my whole plot will have had a good dig over simply because of planting and cropping them.
It just takes a bit of organisation and winter is a good time to plan which veg is going where.
