My first Crown Prince squash seedling poked its head up yesterday, so I picked it up to take it out of the heated propagator...and discovered that it had about 3 inches of nicely branching root coming out the bottom!

Still waiting on Crown Prince No. 2 (the "spare"), and I sowed some Tuffy Sweet and Blue Kuri yesterday so should have more triffids coming along. Woohoo!
They're not a patch on the cucumbers for speed, though - one of mine was up in 24 hours.March is the new winter.
