My first Crown Prince squash seedling poked its head up yesterday, so I picked it up to take it out of the heated propagator...and discovered that it had about 3 inches of nicely branching root coming out the bottom!
I've had the same thing with a Blue Hubbard they do grow incredibly quickly......be like triffids when they really get going
Attack of the giant warty blue slugs!
Still waiting on Crown Prince No. 2 (the "spare"), and I sowed some Tuffy Sweet and Blue Kuri yesterday so should have more triffids coming along. Woohoo!
