I only just discovered that squashes, peppers and tomatoes all get blossom end rot and this can be helped by epsom salts to boost their calcium. You could try applying a spray of 1 tbs. epsom salts to one gallon of water on the plants (so a quick google search told me)
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

It's really common to get rotting fruit during a cold spring: like has been said, pick them off and persevere until better weather comes along

Funny I was just reading up about epson salts for my courgettes and peppers, they are way behind. Had a little chuckle reading the thread, made my day.

I would but was looking for a common sense answer.

She's going to kill me when the lady catches up on this thread.

Its just the weird way that my mind works, Potty. Photo no 3 just tickled me fancy, and the more I thought about it, the worse it became, so I make a comment on here and a couple of others think its funny too (or think they know why I'm laughing)! It something about the angle I think!
