um..yeah..powdery mildew shouldnt really be affecting that much yet, it hasn't been dry enough
have a look here at conditions that help it along, and see if you're doing any of them, or if you can change the plants situation

Powdery Mildew can be caused by many different fungi. A lot of which thrive in high humidity and moderate temperatures, so it is a possibility.
