HELP!!!...I'm Being Attacked!!!!

..OK , not me...but my pepper plants in the greenhouse...
I can't see what is causing it...any suggestions please, as to what it might be, and how best to deal with it !!!!

Have you looked carefully under the leaves? For the mysterious parachuting caterpillars?

I just found some tiny yellowish eggs on the one plant which I have got rid of by hand...I think !

Also check for snails. My pepper plants looked like that after a visit by the ninja snails. I have had to put organic slug pellets around them all to fend them off, as well as patrolling and removing any I find.

I must admit the "bite marks" seem quite substantial...you are probably right., I may be looking at snail or slug damage...do they lay little yellow eggs ?? ( I shall google it !!!!)

I'm no expert (anything but, really) but those bite marks look like the work of caterpillars rather than slugs.

Caterpillars tend to perch on the edge of the leaf and start to munch to give those semi-circular patterns, the slugs in my garden tend to creat a lace-doillie effect in the leaf and will also attack the stem.

And I was always finding yellow-orange eggs under my broccoli leaves last year from cabbage whites.

Just my 2p-worth.

When I've had caterpillar attacks I've had to take all the plants outside and subject them to a VERY thorough inspection to get the blighters. They start off pretty small and seem to camouflage themselves to the colour of the plant they're eating. Check along the leaf stems and any ridges as I found they often hid there.

Had a bit of that myself and a neighbour told me it would be caterpillars. Really hard to find as they blend in so well with the leaves. Took ages on my hands and knees but I found two and they dont seem to have been touched since.

I've been looking with a magnifying glass ( eyes not quite as good as they were when I was a lad!!!)

Cabbage whites do lay little yellow eggs. I saw some on my pot marigolds at the lottie yesterday. Maybe you could lure them off your peppers with something they might like the taste of more...nasturtiums perhaps.
