My chilli, pepper and a couple of tomao plants all have some tiny insects all over them, looks a bit like greenfly, they have been in a greenhouse so i I have just sprayed some plant rescue all over the leaves, will this save the plants or is there anything else i can do. I hope i can save them as they were all starting to flower.

You will get them again, they're very determined. Keep your eyes peeled for the first invaders, and squish them as they appear, to keep the population under control (we need SOME, to feed the ladybirds, hoverflies & lacewings)All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

Very determined is right....
I have two chilli plants with them and despite a squishing and spraing down with a powerful hose, they always seem to re-appear..buggers!!I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Plant some french marigolds or tagetes. I had a greenfly invasion in the tunnel earlier in the year but now the flowers are doing well in keeping them under control and they look pretty too!!Gardening requires a lot of water - most of it in the form of perspiration. Lou Erickson, critic and poet
