    Nwh,

Now you explain in more detail I would suggest in your beds on the patio you fork in some general purpose fertilizer Growmore or blood fish and bone. If you are going to use Growmore fork it in at the end of this month to the middle of Feb. If you use BFB fork it in a few days before planting.

You may have to use a supplimentary feed as well to get the best from your crops.

I would also think of a smaller container for the likes of lettuce. Mine grow 6 to a container each container is 600mm long x 150mm x 150mm. I find by successional sowing in smaller pots I can always have a half grown lettuce ready to put in where one has been harvested. That way 2 containers will keep us in lettuce all season.

Has anyone tried Osmo products. Supposed to be amazing 100 PC organic and a great soil conditioner too. Will be giving it a go in the future but have manure to use first.
